This custom computer is an upgrade from the original $330 system. It has better CPU performance (six-core processor), more memory (8GB DDR3) and faster wireless adapter (300Mbps).
The extra $70 definitely brings a lot more than it takes.
We upgrade from the Quad-Core 965 Black Edition to Six-Core 1045T CPU. Even though Black Edition CPUs are unlocked and have some great potentials but not everyone cares about that. Many are willing not to sacrifice the lifespan of the unit for overclocking. Thus, we trade the 965 for 1045T to get a better multitasking experience.
The Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P motherboard is kept as it was because its integrated graphics still has a very good use for Home and Work PC build. Plus, this system double the capacity of memory to 8GB of DDR3-1333 set. It is a pair of 4GB each and it is the maximum amount this motherboard can handle. Nevertheless, I rarely know any type of document processing, internet browsing or those alike that can potentially eat up this entire amount of RAM. And for within this price range, this is the best you can get.
