OCZ Technology is a reputable computer hardware manufacturer very well-known among custom computer builders. They were founded in 2002 with the Headquarters based in San-Jose.
The company is quite popular for their lines of Solid State Drive and Power Supply Units. At the time of this article (2012), OCZ has approximately six models of Power Supply Units under their sleeve; but due to the recent acquiring of PC Power & Cooling in 2007 they have extended this number to a total of more than 9 different models.
The PC & Power Cooling (PPC) lineup is considered a more premium brand than OCZ’s. All PC & Power Cooling power supply units are made with solid components (Japanese capacitors), longer warranty (five to seven years) plus some are industrial graded. Therefore they are usually seen in industrial, high-end SIs, server-class or mission critical types of computer. On the other hand, OCZ Power supply units mainly targets the mainstream gamers, modders, enthusiasts, and system builders alike.
In this article, I will quickly point out the main differences between both all OCZ and PC Power Cooling power supply units for your convenience. I know this should help many of you guys on your research :)
